Dentist registration fee doubled
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said the registration fee of dentists has been raised from Rs 1000 to Rs 2000.

Illegal admissions
The  Medical Council of India (MCI) has not approved the admission of nearly 3,000 MBBS students who took management quota seats during the last two years. And the state government is to blame for this.
The government has failed to comply with the MCI norms which stipulate that management quota seats have to be filled through an entrance test conducted by either the government or a consortium of medical colleges, as per Supreme Court directions. NEWSLINK
