| DCI boss office and house raided by CBI for alleged fraud in retaining Prez post of DCI
Ranchi: Feb. 22: The CBI today booked former vice- chancellor of Nilambar Pitambar University Firoz Ahmad along with three others for criminal conspiracy, cheating, misconduct and illegal gratification and carried out raids at six places in Ranchi, Garhwa, Delhi and Calcutta. Dental Council of India (DCI) president Dibyendu Majumdar, DCI’s former officiating secretary S.K. Ojha and chairman of Vananchal Dental College & Hospital (VDCH) in Garhwah Dinesh Prasad Singh have also been booked. A team of CBI officials from Ranchi and Delhi raided the residence of former VC on Circular Road in Ranchi. The VDCH office, the residence of its chairman and the DCI president’s house were also raided. LINK
