Dental council of India puts all dental colleges under CCTV cover
Now, all dental colleges in the country will be under the surveillance of CCTV cameras attached to the Dental Council of India (DCI). The decision, which was taken by DCI recently, gives six months time to the colleges for installation of CCTV cameras in the OPD, lecture room, biometric and the clinic area. This will help check the attendance of students and quality of teaching in colleges.

Interns of dental college end strike, health minister assures jobs
The interns of Himachal Pradesh Government Dental College today called off their 5 days long strike after having assurance from the State Health Minister Mr. Kaul Singh Thakur to concede their demands, a press statement issued by the agitating interns said. Honey best cure to treat oral cancer wounds, claim IIT Kharagpur
After years of research, a group of Indian scientists have found out that the secret formula to treat oral cancer wounds lies in honey. An inter-disciplinary research group comprising chemical engineers, bio-technologists and doctors at IIT Kharagpur have developed a therapeutic patch which is made of silk and embedded with honey.
