Dentist commits suicide over dowry harassment
Disha Salooja Saraswat was found hanging by her mother and sister-in-law at her father’s residence. Her family rushed her to a hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead. A 27-year-old dentist allegedly committed suicide in New Agra locality on Wednesday after reportedly being harassed by her in-laws for dowry.
According to the information provided by the family of the deceased, the woman and her husband were dentists and they also had a six-month-old daughter. TOI NEWS

Dental Council says refusal to remove braces is unethical
The refusal of any orthodontist to remove braces from a child on the basis that they had not been paid is unethical, a spokesman for the Dental Council of Ireland has said. Dental chain DENTY expands to Chennai
Hyderabad-based multi-specialty dental care chain Denty’s has set up its third clinic in Chennai. This is the 11th outlet in the country for the chain, which was launched in 2009 and has presence in five cities in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu.
“We are planning to foray into Bangalore and Mumbai with the aim to be pan-India by next year with at least 50 clinics,” said Dr Sekhar Chennupati, MD, Denty’s Dental Care.
