Misleading mouthwash adv by Listerine banned
An ad for Listerine mouthwash has been banned for misleadingly suggesting that such products are necessary for dental health. One listener of ad complained that the claim “brushing alone isn’t enough” was misleading and could not be substantiated.
Advertising Standards Authority stated “We therefore concluded the claim was misleading and had not been substantiated.” LINK

HMC will soon begin to revalidate the qualifications, credentials with the help of The MVIrl consortium which is led by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and also includes affiliated faculties of Dentistry and Radiologists, the College of Anesthetists of Ireland, the College of Psychiatry of Ireland, the Irish College of General Practitioners and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Star Dental to invest Rs 150 crore in 3 years to open 300 dental clinics
US-based Star Dental on Wednesday said it plans to invest Rs 150 crore over the next three years to open around 300 clinics across India by 2017.
